While we continue to fight to enact policy change to create safer, breathable communities, together with organizations like CVPE, EJHA and Coming Clean,

we also see a large part of our advocacy and role as a community organization to create deep community ties and support networks with children, parents, teachers and students alike to make sure we are always in tune with and ready to serve our people.

More On Community Outreach

T.E.J.A.S. is continuing to look for more ways to serve and benefit our Eastside and Greater Houston community. We believe that working with youth is a key tool to creating strong politically and environmentally conscious communities.

However, after Hurricane Beryl—as after any of Houston's previous natural disasters—we want to make sure that community support and mutual aid is at the forefront of our efforts and understand that is the most important thing we can do for our communities at this time.
