What we offer
At T.E.J.A.S. We offer a number of educational programs and services to community members looking to learn more about Environmental Justice and the environmental impacts facing all our Houston communities.
Educational events
T.E.J.A.S. believes that environmental education starts at a grassroots level. This means bringing community members together from all sides--whether students, teachers, parents, kids, or of any other demographic to come and learn with us about Environmental Justice and what T.E.J.A.S is all about.
Toxic Tours
Being the originators of the "Toxic Tour" some 20 years ago, T.E.J.A.S. knows its way around Houstons petrochemical industry best.
Toxic Tours are an afternoon-long tour around the worst polluters of Houstons air and environment, showing community members and anyone looking to learn about the deadly truth behind the oil capitol of Texas.

Mutual Aid
Community organizing means service in the classroom as well as in the field. Education is only part of the way that T.E.J.A.S works with communities to build strong connections. Mutual Aid and community response are key aspects of our mission to make sure we are there at the frontlines with our most vulnerable communities.
